Hi Guys,

Besides the summer i actually found the time finishing this painting that i started just before the holydays :)

Wanted to create an epic scene in the American mountains. With the feeling of an old photograph. So here is the construction of the great West railway. I realy had alot of fun creating this. And learned a few new tricks at the same time.

I wanted to convey the feeling of the train traveling through the valley. So creating depth and and distance is definetly a goal ;)

Yeah ive used a little custom brushes here and there. But mostly for filling. Otherwise i just drew a random 20 different trees with masks and manipulated those around ;)
